Applicants must make 2.5 times the rent amount to qualify for each unit.

 

The above chart reflects the most restrictive annual median income and rent limits effective 4/1/25.

Qualifying for Our Community

There are three (3) parts of the application and qualification process which must be met prior to being approved for move-in:

1. Obtain an Application for Housing and submit it to the office to secure your place on the waiting list.

2.      Income pre-qualification and the rental screening application (appropriate fees collected at this time). Once this is approved you will be moved to the following step.

3.      LIHTC program eligibility paperwork. Once you are at this step, we will schedule an in-person appointment to go over your paperwork and determine qualification. Requested documents are due within 10 days of initial request. The more requested documents that you can bring to this appointment, the faster your qualification can be determined.

 

Pre-qualification Questionnaire

We will need to know answers to the following questions:

           - Desired home size (1, 2 or 3 bedroom)

           - Household size (total number of people residing in the home regardless of age)

           - Will there be full-time student(s) in the household?

           - Current household income source(s)

Rental Screening Application

The screening application includes a credit and landlord reference check. Each household member (age 18+) is required to complete a rental application; each applicant will need to pay a $17 (non-refundable) screening fee. Additionally, a holding deposit of $250 (part of the total security deposit*) will be due at the time of application to hold your desired apartment home.

 Applicants have 24 hours to cancel their application for the holding fee to be considered refundable.
